About Jake Bentley

I'm passionate about using data to tackle real-world problems and create impactful solutions. Currently, I'm a student at Carnegie Mellon University, and I graduated from UCSB with a degree in Mathematics and Data Science. I've grown an expertise in data analysis and machine learning. At CMU, I've worked on various projects, including building a backend for a website that uses Airbnb data, creating a collaborative filtering-based recommender system, and visualizing climate change and food production data. I've also transformed text data for analysis, developed and tuned machine learning models, and deployed convolutional network models with PyTorch and Azure. I'm excited to use my skills to make a positive impact and help improve the world around us.
