It started with Cool Hand Luke. I was a kid sitting next to my dad when he said, “You know people do this for a living, right? They get paid to make movies.” That single moment cracked something open. I hadn’t even realized it was possible, until it became all I wanted to do. After college, I packed up and moved to Los Angeles. My first gig? A PA on a reality show about cutting hair. Glamorous? Not exactly. But it taught me the ropes. I hustled, learned everything I could, and soon started making business profile videos on the side. That led to a year of winning online video contests, building a reel, and eventually signing with an agency. I was directing national commercials before I fully realized what had happened. From there, I joined CBS and helped lead their video publicity team, producing, shooting, and editing some of their most viral content, campaigns that pulled in hundreds of millions of views across platforms. I’ve since directed commercial work for brands like Chipotle, Coca-Cola, PetSmart, and Fox Sports. My work has appeared in IndieWire, Filmmaker Magazine, and NoFilmSchool. And through my company, 512 Media, I’ve led production on everything from social campaigns to full-scale branded activations, including two of my proudest projects: the Call of Duty Plate Up for Verdansk event and Haunted Playtest. At the heart of everything I do is a simple philosophy: lead with kindness, curiosity, and heart. There are two types of directors, those who instill fear, and those who lead by example. I’m the second kind. I love the camaraderie of a great crew, the moment a blank space becomes a set, and that final delivery when it all just clicks.
