About Jake Breckner

I'm passionate about history and associated fields of interest (languages, etymology, linguistics, economy, political science, anthropology, and archaeology). I study ancient civilizations and how they tie the past to the present and it's relevance to the future because I think it is an important area of scholarship. I study theology and aspects of religion that tie into various interests of my own. I have an open mind and I'm happy to debate intellectual conversations revolving around logic theory, philosophy, and anything related to history or religion. I do independent research to pursue ancient languages [Hebrew, Sansqrit, Old English, Greek, Norse, and Latin]. As an amateur linguist, I've learned some higher understanding of language construction, etymology, and comprehension of meaning. It is my wish to learn Mesopotamian cuneiform, but I have yet to find anything. I also study quantum physics and astronomy as a hobby. Being a Dungeon Master for my Dungeons & Dragons team requires learning skills of group cooperation, imagination, and the ability to negotiate. There are also aspects of leadership qualities for advanced planning and necessary improvisation. For the players life skills and practicality as well as logic and alternative problem solving skills are required to play. Often they are working with risk evaluation and limited data analysis in each challenge. Being able to do so effectively creates a masterful story of expression that's inclusive for all players and an enjoyable environment.
