In my career, I have worked for multiple organizations; leading food safety teams, innovating new products, quality organoleptics, and helping my teams build futures. I pride myself in my work and my own abilities to not only lead cross-functional teams, but as a highly effective Scientist. More than all that though are how amazing my chemistry jokes are. With >10 years of Quality and food safety experience, I've learned the to do's and to don'ts in the quality sector. Studied HACCP when I was working with the state. Learned the ins and outs of SQF from my time with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and at Celestial Seasonings. I've worked in retail, manufacturing, State, Dairy, Auditing, Biotech, vertical farming, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), Lab Management, R&D, Pharmaceuticals, and more. 10+ years of FSQA, food safety audits, compliance, management of food safety systems and end-to-end accountability from onboarding a supplier to finished goods in manufacturing. As a Quality Assurance Manager I Ensured federal and 3rd party food safety systems compliance during 3rd party audits including SQF, GFCO, QAI Organic, Kosher, and FDA, etc. FDA audit did not result in a Form 483. My responsibilities have included food safety in both Retail, and Manufacturing industries. As well as R&D and ideation. I have been involved with R&D in all of my previous roles and thus have a comprehensive understanding of how to work collaboratively, and how innovation becomes a product.
