3rd year PhD candidate, researcher, and sessional tutor at the University of Sydney interested in exploring why policymakers do (and do not) adopt particular policies across time and space, with a particular focus on immigration selection policy. Thesis entails a two-country comparison between Australia and the UK, with process tracing of multiple case studies enabled by elite interviews, archival research, and documentary analysis. On top of these qualitative research skills acquired through the course of my PhD, plus paid and voluntary research assistance work, I have also demonstrated proficiency at tutoring undergraduates and prospective university students.
