Support the Manufacturing Department with the planning, execution and coordination of daily job tasks. · Streamline tool accountability, material procurement and order validation for the Manufacturing Department. · Maintain consumable inventory and order materials for the Manufacturing Department with quarterly reconciliation. · Owner for crane cost vs. project budget, communicating with Manufacturing to initiate crane PR's and calling for crane pickup. · Manufacturing Department tool calibration owner to include quarterly reconciliation and sustainability. · Owner for tool traceability system (RFID), purchase and repair. · Owner for equipment rental and recruitment as well as timely return for cost control. · Owner for manufacturing IWD notifications. · Manufacturing 5s Champion to organize 5S events that are sustainable in coordination with Manufacturing management. · Liaise with various internal company departments to meet department objectives and schedule requirements · Interface with PMT, vendors, subcontractors, and Procurement, as necessary · Keeping inventory for tooling and consumables within department · Obtaining estimates and preparing purchase requisitions. · Assist in proof reading document specifications for purchased items · Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and fit for purpose · Support lean business system implementation by engaging in training and improvement activities for all processes · Contribute to planned activities using effective visual management tools and official documentation to ensure achievement and adherence to planned standards & production targets
