About Jake Fuller

I'm Jake Fuller, a dedicated and detail-oriented professional based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My journey includes earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Technology Management from Toronto Metropolitan University, where I've developed a diverse skill set and gained valuable hands-on experience. While working with the Brain Injury Association of Peel and Halton, I had the opportunity to lead a small team as both a Project Manager and Business Analyst for a senior capstone project. We successfully developed and implemented a design plan for an e-learning platform, with me serving as the primary liaison between the team and the Director of Operations. This experience allowed me to showcase my leadership, communication, and project management skills as well as my process modelling and business analysis skills. My academic projects have further enriched my expertise in data analysis and engineering. For instance, projects like U.S. Movie Data Visualization and Canadian Airline Twitter (X) Analysis have sharpened my abilities in data visualization, analysis, and business decision-making using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Python. Additionally, my proficiency extends to web development, as demonstrated by my contribution to the Beer Club Website project. Here, I utilized technologies like Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and REST APIs to create a dynamic and responsive web application. I am currently working on a Toronto Shelter Occupancy data pipeline project to gain working experience with current technologies such as Apache Airflow, Amazon S3 and more. I am excited about this project not only for developing my own knowledge, but because it may yield valuable real world insights. With my strong background in business technology management and hands-on experience in data analysis, engineering, and business analysis, I am well-prepared to excel in junior positions for Data Engineer, Data Analyst, and Business Analyst roles. I bring a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to drive impactful solutions and contribute effectively to any team.
