About Jake Gill

In life, I believe you make your own luck through hard work and determination and I have the belief of ‘sky’s the limit’. I want to be as successful as possible and I know that this will only happen through hard work and for this reason, I pride myself on my hard work and determination. I am always looking for new opportunities in gaining new qualifications where I can develop my skills further and help set up my future. I am currently working towards the BA Honours Degree in Education Studies (Primary) through the Open University. I am also working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training and the Level 5 Specialist Diploma in Teaching Numeracy in order to obtain QTLS and up skill my teaching. I currently work for ICON Training as a Skills Tutor and Assessor. ICON specialise in delivering Leisure, Fitness and Management qualifications, across England and Wales; qualifications ranging from entry Level 1 to executive Level 7; these can be delivered through apprenticeships or commercially. ICON were founded in 1995 and have continued to grow and develop year upon year, expanding their expertise and high standards. In 2012 ICON received Ofsted Grade 1 Outstanding accolade; the ethos of outstanding delivery and high standards is driven right through the business and something we all buy into and strive towards as an organisation.
