About Jake Grech

I have joined the International Office of the University of Malta (UM) in 2011. Since then I gained experience in project management and enhanced my skills to become a team leader within the Erasmus+ programme for EU/EEA countries. My current role is that of an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme coordinator which aims at forging collaborations between the EU and non-EU countries. I currently hold the position of a Liaison Officer of the SGroup - Universities in Europe for the UM. I am also one of the work package leaders of the mobility section of the SEA-EU Alliance which the UM forms part of. Managing a team, networking, attending conferences and being the liaison officer in a network the UM is a member of, increased my drive and motivated me to develop my management skills and further my knowledge in organisational behaviour. In fact, my EMBA's applied research project focused on the area of 'wellbeing'.
