Recent matters- advising a major international financial institutions in relation to enforcement related matters with FSA and FCA- advice in relational to complex and cross border corporate governance issues- advice in relation to the implications of the Remuneration Code for various financial institutions- advising fund managers and online trading providers in relation to FSA applications and variation of permission requests- advising a number of financial institutions on the marketing of funds globally- advice in relation to AIFMD implementation projects- transaction reporting and client money FSA and FCA enforcement issues- advice in relation to FCA s166 projects. Specialties: Regularly advise financial institutions in relation to a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues. I have particular expertise in matters relating to corporate governance, FSA conduct of business rules and perimeter guidance, regulatory capital matters, online FX and CFD trading and spread betting and FSA investigations / s166 projects. Currently working with clients in relation to regulatory planning (change in UK regulatory structure, MiFID II, AIFMD and EMIR).
