Background

About Jake Hamm

Passionate about both education and athletics, I am a dedicated social science teacher at Trinity College School. At TCS, I advocate for a holistic approach to education, nurturing the growth and wellbeing of each student in and out of the classroom. I firmly believe that fostering a supportive environment is essential for students to thrive academically, socially, and athletically. In addition to my teaching role, I hold significant responsibilities within the football program at TCS. As the Senior Football Offensive Coordinator, Assistant Head Coach, and Junior Varsity Head Football Coach, I am deeply involved in developing players both on and off the field. Through strategic coaching and mentorship, I aim to instill not only a passion for the sport but also valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Prior to joining TCS, I honed my coaching skills as an offensive assistant and run game coordinator at Ashbury College, where our team clinched the 2019 Ottawa city championship. This experience equipped me with a strong understanding of game strategy and player development, which I bring to my current role at TCS. Recently, I was honored to be named the Offensive Coordinator for the Team Ontario U18 Women's Development Team. This opportunity allows me to further contribute to the development of young athletes on a regional level, while also promoting diversity and inclusivity in sports. Overall, my journey in education and athletics has been driven by a passion for empowering students and athletes to reach their full potential. I am committed to continuing this mission and making a positive impact in the lives of those I teach and coach
