About Jake Hobbs

With a diverse background ranging from dairy farming and big game ranching in my youth to a two-year mission after high school, I've cultivated a strong work ethic and a range of skills. I spent four years as a framer/electrician post-mission, followed by roles as a slickline hand for three years and a slickline specialist for two. I then worked as a warehouse/electronic technician for a year and a layout/NDT technician for three years. As an electronic technician specializing in the repair of inspection equipment for three years, I honed my technical skills further. Currently, I am working as a Project Controller. Throughout my career, each job has taught me the true value of work and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude. The most important lesson I've learned is the value of teamwork and collaboration. I have obtained my electrical license (Certificate of Fitness), IRRSP, IRATA Level 1, and completed all classes for UT/RT Level 1. I am currently enrolled at BYU-Idaho with the goal of earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
