I'm an experienced leader in data science, machine learning, business intelligence, analytics, and fintech. I have expertise in building machine learning models in sales forecasting, fraud detection, churn prediction, insurance pricing, and housing price prediction, with experience in recommender systems, image classification, object detection, NLP, and sentiment analysis. Prior to working in data science, I was the CEO and investment portfolio manager of a small investment startup where I developed an outstanding track record of success generating 27.9% annualized returns (versus 13.0% for S&P 500), using a data-oriented investment strategy. I primarily code in Python, SQL, and JavaScript and have extensive expertise in data visualization (Vega, D3, Tableau, PowerBI). I build web apps in Vue.js / Nuxt.
