About Jake Karliner

I am passionate about politics and history, the latter because it provides context for current global issues. I am interested in international relations and related fields that require research and analytical skills, combined with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. During my time at Syracuse University, and as a research intern at NGO Monitor, I proved my ability to develop and execute research plans. As an NGO Monitor, I learned to navigate cross cultural work relationships, which both helped me leverage the expertise and knowledgebase of my co-workers, and makes me effective in diverse workplace environments. While searching for a job in my field, I have been working in a fast-paced retail environment, which has helped me further develop my interpersonal, influence, and organizational skills.
