About Jake Lian

I began my career in logistics, managing complex operations and ensuring supply chain efficiency, but quickly expanded my impact by learning and applying technical skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, Excel VBA, Amazon QuickSight, and Amazon S3. This combination of business and technical expertise has allowed me to automate manual processes, reduce labor by dozens of hours weekly, and build dashboards that drive data-informed decisions for leadership. At Amazon, I’ve transformed reporting and escalation workflows, improved SLA compliance, and enabled strategic cost optimization through actionable insights. I thrive at the intersection of operations and technology, translating complex data into clear recommendations for cross-functional teams. My experience demonstrates a pattern of “thinking big”: identifying inefficiencies, designing scalable solutions, and delivering measurable business impact. With a foundation in analytical thinking and process improvement, I continue to grow by exploring new tools and approaches to make logistics smarter and more efficient.
