I am an undergraduate student at the University of Western Ontario in my third year of an honors specialization degree in Genetics and Biochemistry with a deep passion for scientific research and communication. I have extensive experience conducting biochemical and microbiological research. Some examples include- Mutagenizing the fluorescent protein mCherry to change it's wavelength of maximum emission- Identifying a candidate molecule for use as a general antivenom therapy using molecular analytical software such as PyMOL, SwissADME, and Mcule- Routine application of techniques such as protein purification, DNA/RNA extraction and polymerase chain reaction. During the summer, I manage a yard service and labor company that I founded in high-school called "Student With a Strong Back". With the help of my friends and employees, we have managed to grow to serve 50+ recurring clients. I also personally train youth (8-12 years) in basketball and physical exercise. At nights, I work as a pizza chef at Locale Restaurant Aurora.
