About Jake McWilliams

I love a challenge. The inspiration for my career has always been to find challenges and conquer them. Because I was never afraid to try and potentially fail, I have always been afforded with opportunities to learn and try new things. I can truly say that for the majority of my career, I have been fortunate to have been guided by many experienced and thoughtful mentors; and, have been provided with many exceptional training opportunities. The ultimate level of personal satisfaction I can achieve is when I am able to help someone else by teaching or mentoring them. The ultimate compliment, which I’ve received on numerous occasions, is to have a non-technical person tell me that I appear to have a somewhat unique gift of being able to communicate extremely technical issues to non-technical people in a way that they can understand. My professional goal is to always be in positions and situations that allow me to continue to thrive with the type of experiences that I’ve encountered so far. Personally, I love playing racquetball. I am no longer as fast as I once was but can still hang with, and occasionally beat, most players that are half my age. My hope is that I will always be able to play as I can’t think of anything else that would give me both the physical benefit and mental enjoyment that this sport does. Specialties: I have an extremely diverse background with most of my experience in the areas of Technical Management; Project Design/Development/Implementation/Management; Application Development; Database Administration; and, Process/Project Consulting. I also have experience in the areas of General Management; General Auditing and Investigations; and, IT Auditing.
