My journey has taken me from building Jake O’Brien Fitness—a successful online coaching platform—to now seeking hands-on experience in healthcare as I prepare to study Occupational Therapy at Griffith University in 2026. Personally, I have built a social media following of nearly one million, using my platforms to inspire and educate others on health, fitness, and well-being. Previously, I worked as a personal trainer and remedial massage therapist, equipping me with in-depth knowledge of movement, rehabilitation, and client-centred care. My experience extends beyond fitness; as a qualified chef, self-published author, and industry collaborator with EHPlabs, I have dedicated my career to empowering individuals to take control of their health. Now, I’m eager to apply my skills in a healthcare setting, whether through support work, allied health assistance, or entry-level roles within a hospital or clinic.
