Hello! Jake Poupore here, Realtor with Sotheby's International Realty Canada in beautiful Muskoka Ontario. For those who don't know me well, let me share a little about myself: Growing up I shared my time between Almaguin and Muskoka. My mom was a school principal in the Near North District School Board, and my dad was a flight instructor here in Gravenhurst, running Ferrari Flight Training at the Muskoka airport for nearly 40 years.(Yes I have my mom’s last name, Poupore, instead of my dad’s last name, Ferrari…and yes I am bitterly aware of how great of a salesman name Jake Ferrari would have been…what can I say, the universe has a sense of humor). Thanks to my wonderful parents, I had the privilege of spending a great deal of time on the water, ATV trails, and golf courses all around Muskoka and Almaguin. I quickly developed a strong connection to the area and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and unique lifestyle it can afford. I ventured off to the University of Western Ontario where I graduated with an Hon. B.A. from a double major in Philosophy and English Language and Literature. I followed that up with a business management program from Georgian College, and then ultimately couldn’t resist the call home. Back in Muskoka, I spent the better part of a decade as a Vacation Rental Consultant and Property Manager, where I acquired specialized knowledge of waterfront properties and got unique insight into the local real estate market in general. Now a licensed Realtor and having found my forever-home within Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, I am thrilled to help my clients navigate our local market and share in our remarkable surroundings. No matter the size or situation, from Almaguin to Muskoka and surrounding areas, no question or matter is too big or small.
