Background
About Jake Richardson
I'm a video producer with 8+ years' experience pitching, shooting and editing short films and videos for a variety of audiences, industries and platforms. Currently I create videos as part of an in-house design team at a university, but I've also worked for myself through a production company I co-founded; providing promos and explainers for SMEs in the region.I'm incredibly passionate about film, storytelling and the technical crafts alongside it, with a particular love for editing and post-production. My day-to-day ranges from planning, shooting and editing videos to discussing ideas with stakeholders, researching new trends and reshaping content to suit different platforms: Twitter, TikTok, cinema, VOD etc.Outside of production I've also run successful crowdfunding campaigns, developed social media strategies and taken on legal/financial responsibilities such as contracts and budgeting. Here's a quick taster of what I've worked on: https://vimeo.com/693040263
