About Jake Rigby

I am a recruitment professional with a passion for helping people find rewarding careers in the healthcare industry. I currently work as a Principal Consultant at Tezlom. Tezlom provide compassionate care workers to vulnerable individuals across the UK. My journey started at the University of Nottingham, where I studied English with Creative Writing. While it may seem like a far cry from the recruitment industry, I've found that my writing skills have been a valuable asset in my career. Crafting compelling job descriptions and communicating effectively with candidates requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to tell a story, two qualities that are essential in both writing and recruitment. Over the years, I've honed my skills as a recruitment consultant, working my way up from a junior role to my current position as a Principal Consultant. But it wasn't until I joined Tezlom in 2020 that I truly found my calling. Helping healthcare professionals find meaningful work and connecting them with individuals who need their care has been the most rewarding experience of my career. I'm proud to be a part of a team that's making a real difference in people's lives every day. Outside of work, I'm also the captain of a successful football team. I believe that encouraging the next generation is one of the most important things we can do, both on and off the pitch. It's a reminder that we all have the power to make a positive impact in our communities, and that's something I try to bring to my work every day.
