Practiced oversight of large Production, Post Production and Finance professionals. Worked extensively throughout the USA, Canada and internationally in every continent in the world. International financing expert on bank loan, mezzanine and pre-sales structures, incentive/tax programs, and local shooting styles. Closes financing no matter the complication to assure a greenlight hits a target model. Positive people skills in alignment to design, implement and manage any production and distribution plan. Head of Production for Gaumont, France's largest Film Studio, EVP Production at Skydance and 10 yrs at Sony as Head of Production overseeing a variety of TV pilots, movies and series spanned 20 yrs. Worked directly with HW's top talent such as, Ridley Scott, Gale Anne Hurd,Jim Carrey, Sean Combs, Walter Hill, Pierce Brosnan, Tey Parker, Jane Fonda and many more. Oversaw the longest running series of TV films ever starring Tom Selleck as the character Jessie Stone. A consistent hit for CBS. Hatfields and McCoys starring Kevin Costner & Bill Paxton was the top rated and most awarded program in cable history. Grace and Frankie which Jake oversaw the first four seasons on, is the longest running series on Netflix clocking in at 94 episodes spanning 7 years. The reboot of Bonnie and Clyde Directed by Bruce Beresford was a certified hit winning Emmy Gold. Pre Sony, in 20 years of producing features and TV, Jake consistently ensured product was made on time, under budget and had a successful run. His knowledge of Distribution, creative and physical production landed him multiple studio head jobs. He produced films in all budget ranges such as "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls,” and "Street Fighter” as well as lower budget indies such as "Election,” "Steal This Movie"​ and Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s early feature,"Orgazmo," Event Television like the Joyce Carol Oates novel “Blonde,” “Superfire” and the CBS biopic on Lucille Ball lead Jake into long form. He was a key executive at both Disney and CBC overseeing a 300mm slate. As Disney studios post production services head, he had oversight of all VFX on Warren Beatty’s “Dick Tracy.” VP of Operations, Sound Fx Inc & VP Sales, Operations and Marketing Glen Glenn Sound were early posts.
