About Jake Shoemaker

I'm a Biomedical Services Supervisor for InfuSystem in Lenexa, KS. In addition to my current position, I'm going to school at Kansas State University where I'm completing my Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. My expected graduation date is December 2025. Ever since I can remember, I've always had a passion for helping others. Whether something as simple as helping a friend move furniture to long-term commitments mentoring junior sailors during my time in the Navy, knowing that my actions have helped someone has been a strong motivator. That passion called me toward the healthcare field, where I was able to couple my drive to help others with my technical skills gained in the military to a career as a biomedical technician. After completing my bachelor's degree, my goal is to continue my education and earn an MBA in Healthcare Administration. I ultimately want to be able to provide leadership on a large scale to continue improving lives through ensuring patients receive top quality health care.
