You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"-Wayne Gretzky I have graduated from Normandale Community College with an Associate's of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Information Technology Managment. I chose this degree because I enjoy working with computers and organizing data. I am certified in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, and I know how to use Adobe Photoshop. Working as Event Staff has been a great way to improve my communication skills as well as maintaining good relationships with customers. Aside from knowledge of security, I have learned to keep my eyes on everything and always be prepared for adversity. I have also worked at larger venues such as U.S. Bank Stadium, ensuring customers a fantastic experience and also a safe one. In my free time I like to travel and spend time with family/friends. I have been to five countries outside of the United States which has given me insight on other cultures and how their way of life differs from our own. When spending time with friends we typically play sports or go sight seeing. In the future I would like to visit more countries and experience cultures that are new to me. I aspire to be successful and work hard to achieve my personal goals. Nothing comes easy, but determination will lead one on the path to success.
