About Jake Storck

Served 4 years in the Marine Corps Infantry with a long-standing record of initiative and innovation. Maintained the job title of Section Leader who is responsible for the discipline, appearance, control, equipment,conduct and welfare of my section. In my military role, I exercised leadership, communication, and knowledge in contribution of team efforts and organizational improvements. I am open-minded and focused on new developments in my field. I have proven to be effective, motivational, proficient in critical thinking, and collaborative work where I led my 26 man section through 2 deployments maintaining a perfect safety record along with a outstanding accountability record for 5 million dollars worth of government property and equipment. Throughout the course of my military and professional career, I have honed my technical skills and my leadership abilities. I am an astute problem-solver capable of prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency. Currently I am in the Concrete Preservation Institute Skills Program as a Superintendent overseeing day to day operations ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA standards on the job site and supervising a team in concrete repair projects. CPI is a nationwide non-profit foundation that serves as a U.S. Military active duty Career Skills Program, partner of the National Park Service, gives service members in-depth hands on training for concrete construction industry careers. I look to further my career and share my skill set with your company. I believe I will be a great fit with my history of leadership, safety, and hard-work.
