About Jake Strickler

As the Global Director of People Operations, I am responsible for growing and developing a diverse, international, and inspiring team of professionals at Impact Water, who are working diligently to provide clean water to more than schools across Africa. I have over 14 years of experience in managing environmental and social conflicts, facilitating collaboration, and delivering thought-provoking trainings to all types of audiences. I believe in bringing people together to find solutions to some of the world's most challenging problems, especially in the areas of water safety, public health, and environmental destruction. I have a master's degree in international environmental policy with a focus on conflict resolution and a bachelor's degree in international and environmental studies. I also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin, where I created and implemented community-based agricultural and environmental education projects.
