Global Account Executive | International Business Leader Almost 20 years of experience working in international business with Fortune 500 companies like Caterpillar and Trammell Crow. I have lived and studied in Spain, Mexico, and Chile and have conducted business globally. I am well-versed in the cultural norms, traditions and proper etiquette of Latin America as my professional experience includes business dealings in Mexico, Central America, and most countries of South America including Brazil. I am fluent in both written and spoken Spanish, and am able to communicate with a variety of employees from mine site operators to the board room executives. Throughout my career I have worked with Mining industry leaders such as BHPB, Kiewitt, Grupo Mexico, Agnico Eagle, Coeur Mining, Barrick Gold and Yamana Gold. I have helped to secure multi-million dollar deals including a $400M project with Caterpillar. I was also a key contributor to the successfully closing of over $575M in international contracts. In addition to my ability to secure and generate business and corporate relationships, I have also managed projects from the genesis to fruition by working across the matrix with internal and external partners, including Engineers, Service Technicians, Service Vendors and International Business Leaders to understand, compromise and or resolve barriers. I am a proud Eagle Scout which has given me the resolve to take on challenges both big and small. I consider myself a problem solver at the highest level, fully capable of managing, leading and developing a team to achieve and exceed organizational goals. I have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a double major in International Management and Spanish, and I have Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training.
