About Jake Walter

After graduating from the Fox School of Business with my Bachelor's of Business Administration as a marketing major in May of 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, spent time as the online traffic controller and digital marketing intern at HalfGenius LLC, a Philadelphia area, full-service creative agency. There I investigated industry trends, collected and analyzed social media and website data, and helped to curate a social media community for local business and civics leaders.I have also worked as a cashier and knowledge based services team member at Wegmans Food Markets for over eight years. As a KBS team member, I work closely with various departments throughout the store to directly sell products to customers. This job taught me how to refine a target audience for a product as well as how to build and maintain relationships with coworkers and customers.Since 2022, I have been with Thomas, a Xometry company, as an Advertising Content Specialist. Here, I create, update, and maintain profiles for a 100+ year old online registry of industrial B2B businesses. This includes a lot of hands-on discovery about what makes industries I was previously unfamiliar with tick and assessing how to connect these businesses with the right buyers.I am passionate about getting into the weeds about how different areas of industry, and therefore the world, work and from there figuring out how to connect people with what they need for successful, happy lives. No matter what that may mean for them.
