My name is Jacob Welty. I am a professional leader of 20+ years, with a proven track record of building and leading teams to success, by effectively recruiting and hiring in great judgement. I focus on teaching, training, and mentoring to excellence, through servant leadership, proper and concise delegation, follow-up, and appropriate accountability for myself and my team. I will not settle for less than excellent hospitality and/or customer service. I am a self-motivated, entrepreneurially minded individual with a great sense of urgency and and the highest level of integrity. I am strategic, goal oriented, and results driven. I manage financials closely to ensure the greatest profitability attainable by executing corporate directives and monitoring controllable expenses closely, correcting negative trends, and ensuring shrink controls are in place and flawlessly executed. I constantly strive for excellence in exceeding sales goals and projections by studying my business, to make well informed decisions. I have been the direct report to over 300 associates at a time, including non-exempt as well as exempt associates, some of which has been in a multi-facility capacity. I have a strong desire for continual learning and constant personal growth. Through the course of my progressive career, I have consistently demonstrated excellence in my performance and character, as well as that of the teamsI lead. I have a strong set of transferable competencies which allow me great flexibility and adaptability to nearly any situation, industry, or discipline. This allows for the ability for me to seamlessly transition into nearly any field smoothly.
