About Jake Winchester

I am a graduate mechanical engineer within the AECOM Buildings and Places team specialising in mechanical building services engineering including the design and documentation of multi-disciplinary projects, from concept design to construction administration and completion. I have worked in different industry sectors including Defence, commercial & educational buildings. I have a special interest in developing sustainable and energy efficient designs. He strives to keep up to date with modern technology, energy efficiency and innovation within his projects. I studied mechanical and mechatronic engineering in university and completed my thesis on control and guidance systems for autonomous control, I have a keen interest in the developing areas of control system engineering as well as robotics. I have also spent some time working For Glencore Coal Assets Australia which has given me experience working with heavy machinery as well as the role and responsibilities for asset management and maintenance and workplace health and safety. My goal is to build a career focused delivering quality and efficient work and consistently advancing my technical skills to deliver advanced solutions.
