About Jake Zabrowsky

I’m a skilled construction project manager with over a decade of experience leading teams and implementing complex real estate projects, this has included supporting electric and gas transmission, utility distribution projects, and other highly impactful endeavors. I’m fluent in the full life cycle of construction and real estate project planning, development, and implementation, as well as having direct negotiation experience with key project stakeholders, vendors, and community leaders. Previously I was working as a Real Estate Project Manager with Gotham Communications. There, I continued to build my expertise in infrastructure and utility real estate project oversight & management with a focus on Offshore Wind Development. As well as polishing my leadership style as I trained and mentored new members of our crew. In addition, I served for four years in the Marine Corps. I was a combat leader and had direct management experience in building, leading, and motivating cross-functional teams and experts to success. Besides personal discipline, time management, and risk management, I learned quickly that responsibility simply does not stop at the individual, but team outcomes are important. During my deployment to Afghanistan, as a non-commissioned officer (NCO), I was responsible for ensuring that my Marines were prepared, equipped, trained tactically, and technically to complete our mission. I continue to carry the lessons that I learned while in the Marines today, as well as the pride in service. I’m interested in the rapidly developing on and offshore wind, solar, and renewable energy sector and how we develop, build and connect the important infrastructure of tomorrow. I’ve worked on a few related projects and I’m excited to help to provide strategic insights and manage and execute these projects across the country. Whether it is locating land for a new onshore substation, analyzing and creating real estate solutions, or leveraging new renewable energy resources through new or revamped technologies.
