About Jakob Cridelich

I am a current student at the University of Wisconsin Platteville pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in English. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2023, with a desire to move in to a full time test engineer or research and development position. In the mean time, I am serving the community through my position as a sergeant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, a Guest Service Leader at Kwik Trip, Inc, an Assistant Route Carrier with the United States Postal Service, and as a Maintenance Technician for Parks and Boat Landings with the Grant County Highway Department. On the occasion that I am not occupied with school, the Guard, or work, I enjoy a multitude of hobbies. My first go to is fitness, finding mental and physical strength and motivation through resistance training and mountain biking. When my wife and I decide we need another coffee table, book shelf, or end table, I indulge in the pleasure of bringing custom designs to life through woodworking. Exercising my problem solving skills while saving money, if we have a mechanical or maintenance issue with one of our vehicles I take it upon myself to troubleshoot and execute the required solution. And finally, when I need a moment to rest and reconnect, to not be busy for a moment, I trek the many small streams that southwest Wisconsin has, fishing for trout and observing the peace and serenity mother nature has to offer.
