About Jakub Illner

Jakub Illner has worked over 30 years in the IT sector, including 27 years at Oracle. Jakub is one of the leading Information Management architects in Oracle EMEA, with successful track of designing and leading an implementation of Financial, Telecommunications and Public Sector warehouses, operational data stores, and data lakes. Recently, Jakub focuses on adoption of Oracle public cloud by EMEA customers. Jakub is on the position of Cloud Solution Specialist Leader, Senior Director, since June 2022. Jakub is Certified Oracle Enterprise Architect since 2013, Certified OCI Architect Professional since 2020, and certified by Czech National Security Authority since 2015 (NBU). Jakub Illner is experienced in designing, modeling, implementing and managing large-scale Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store and BI systems on Oracle’s public cloud data management technology and platforms; he is skilled in requirements analysis and developing data models for Information Management systems in Financial Services, Telecommunications, Public Revenue Management and Airlines industries; experienced in developing strategies, architectures, and migration approaches for Information Management workloads and database centered applications in Oracle public cloud. Particular areas of interest are data mesh, data management and integration, data governance, analytics, event processing and visualizations, high availability architectures, infrastructure as a code, serverless services.
