About Jakub Kalus

I've been coaching athletes since 2014. Since then i've been trying to improve the health and performance of many individuals of different age, or from different sports (basketball, volleyball, martial arts, soccer, hockey.). In 2014, i've also competed in natural bodybuilding. Currently, i'm mostly trying to help players from different sports to become better athletes, to be stronger, faster, and complete athletes. Currently, I work with men's basketball team in Brno, Czech Republic, and also with volleyball players of VK Jihostroj České Budějovice. As a former player of basketball, i wanted to publish a book about strength and conditioning and particularly vertical jump, which was published in october 2015 under the name Jumper's Guide. I've been working also as an editor for internet magazines aktin.cz and fit-pro.cz, where i write articles from different areas of fitness/strength and conditioning. Nowadays, i write mostly for my blog lovethegrind.cz, where i post different articles about strength and conditioning and nutrition.
