About Jakub Kuchar
My main goal is to achieve the shortest possible “time to patient” for new health technologies. This includes project leadership, development of market access strategies, local adaptation of global pharmacoeconomic models, budget impact analysis, preparation of reimbursement dossiers, and communication with the clients, health insurance companies, and Ministry of Health. So far, I have had an opportunity to lead or participate in more than 40 HTA submissions within various therapeutical areas (ATMP, rare disease, oncology, neurology, dermatology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, rheumatology, cardiology, psychiatry etc.). I received my master’s degree and postgraduate degree in Pharmacy at Comenius University in Bratislava. Since 2019 I have been expanding my knowledge in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment at University of Glasgow. Furthermore, I serve as the Director for the HTA working group of the ISPOR Chapter Slovakia and I regularly participate as a lector in educational activities focused on HTA in Slovakia.
