About Jakub Lesinski

Thoriana is the best insurance against the failure in projects you can get. I am the Founder and CEO of Thoriana sp z o.o. – the project management consulting company based in Warsaw, Poland and (as b.v.) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, operating across Europe, providing services from strategy definition through portfolio preparation to operational project management. We are the community of project managers (over 40 people now) who are dedicated to make the changes smoother in organizations we are working for. I am also Senior Manager and Project/Programme Manager (20y+ experience). Managed over 30 projects, been a team member in several others. Focused on leadership and effective management aspects especially in a complex project/programme management area. Led teams from 3 to 450+ people and projects up to 40MEUR budget. Specialized in managing change and transformation (especially in the IT domain) and enabling business growth through new products and platforms implementation. IPMA Global Project Excellence Award Assessor from 2018, Judge in 2019, Team Lead Assessor from 2020. Jury Member in Global eCollaboration Competition (GeCCo) from 2019. Project Excellence Award Assessor and Lead Assessor for the Polish IPMA Project Excellence Award (PPEA) 2010, 2011. Member of the jury in Polish IPMA PPEA 2013. Actively participate as a lecturer and lead panel discussions at conferences concerning project management.
