About Jamal Cameron

My professional interests involve working in many different aspects of mental health. This includes working in inpatient and outpatient settings, for profit and non profit organizations and in the academic setting. I have experience working with various populations including but not limited to: schizophrenia, substance abuse, children and people with mood disorders. I currently work within the psychedelic assisted psychotherapy space and collaborate with others to address issues including but not limited to access to care and training. In my career, I envision working within public/private mental health by working with various organizations. In addition to working in local communities, I like to provide consultations to assist individuals and organizations in developing prevention, assessment and interventions related to mental health problems on the county, state, national and international level.
