About Jamal Miah

I am the Director of One Miah Group Ltd, the parent company of OMG Education, a social enterprise that empowers young people through personal development and education. For over six years, I have been leading the operations and strategy of this innovative platform that combines music, media, and mentoring to inspire and equip young people with the confidence, skills, and opportunities to pursue their goals. With over 15 years of experience in the youth sector, I have a deep understanding of how to deliver effective and engaging programs that address the social and developmental needs of diverse youth populations. I manage a team of 12 staff members, five public sector contracts, and multiple external partnerships, ensuring quality, compliance, and impact across all aspects of the business. My passion for youth empowerment stems from my own background in the music industry, where I owned my own recording studio and record label. I leverage my skills and experience to create unique and relevant learning experiences for young people, while also supporting their wellbeing and resilience.
