About Jamar Marks

Dr. Jamar Marks' educational philosophy is established on the belief that education is the compass that guides every individual’s ambition to achieve their goals and aspirations. Dr. Marks has proudly served schools and communities in urban, metropolitan school districts and is a celebrated education professional who has been awarded several distinctions including 2018-2019 Education Support Professional of the Year II (Leadership) and the Georgia Department of Education Merit Pay Award. Dr. Marks founded Blueprint Educational Consulting and Learning Group, LLC in 2020 as an accomplishment to a long-term goal and commitment to the education profession. He is a passionate career educational leader and has accumulated more than 14 years of experience in the education field. Dr. Marks has expanded his leadership skills and capacity by serving on nearly every school instructional leadership team within a local school. He created and implemented a comprehensive school-wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports program, and Multi-tiered Intervention and Support protocol for Tier Student Support Teams. In the 2018- 2019 school year, Dr. Marks helped lead a school turnaround project that resulted in a plus 10-point increase in the school’s College and Career Readiness Performance index for the Georgia Department of Education. Many of the additional skills in Dr. Marks’ leadership capacity includes creating instructional frameworks and monitoring processes, producing continuous school improvement plans, and directing and managing Title I budgets and programs.
