About Jamarl Firebrace

I am person who is driven and believes in leaving an impact in community. I am proud Yorta Yorta man from the Yalaba Yalaba and Ulupna people. I am confident and a person who thrives in a team environment. I am confident in my ability to be punctual as well as communicate effectively within a team and too stakeholders. In my past experiences, being employed at the Melbourne Storm, Department of Family, Fairness and Housing, Brotherhood of St Laurence, VACCA and currently at WBCF as First Nations Youth Coordinator i believe these experiences in a professional context has shaped me into who that I am today. Currently, I am proudly undertaking a four year degree in Youth Work and Criminal Justice at the Victoria University. I believe in my education and Cultural understanding to give me the ability to further understand the field I aspire to be in. Working with young First Nations people to succeed within their own right and for our people to maintain there Cultural Identity is my drive.
