About James Alden

As a former senior buyer for Walmart, I have served in leadership roles in various areas in Walmart for nearly 24 years. Although I have worked in operations and International, buying has been the most rewarding area for me personally. Being able to help hold the cost of living down for our customers brings a great deal of satisfaction to the job. My new role on the supplier side requires many of the same responsibilities for the customer. I work for the end consumer to ensure value and quality are easily attainable and affordable. I strive to balance our bottom line while providing value to our customer and their everyday customers. The end result is still focused on saving the customer money so they can live better. Specialties: Purchase negotiation, private label development, modular planning (planograms), people development and strategic investment opportunities.
