About James Alexander

I am a chief risk officer and audit executive with experience in financial institution enterprise risk management, internal auditing, regulatory compliance, security, fraud prevention, business continuity planning, vendor management and related activities. Success of a business is greatly increased when a balance of opportunity and risk exist. I believe in optimizing an organization’s opportunities through the identification, measurement, and mitigation of inherent risk. I enjoy giving back to the audit profession through activities such as The Institute of Internal Auditor’s (“IIA”) Committee on Research and Educational Development that develop educational books and publications for the internal audit profession; am a Board member of the local chapter of the IIA; and have conducted external assessments of internal audit department’s compliance with the IIA Standards at various organizations.
