About James Ammons

As a registered nurse with over 4 years of experience on the cardiac intensive care unit, I have developed skills that have prepared me for my role as a CRNA. My extensive ICU training in hemodynamic monitoring, post-operative ventilator weaning and extubation, and pain management has provided a firm foundation for my education as an SRNA. I have continued to improve these skills throughout my training, focusing on establishing an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and airway management. Through 900 hours of diverse clinical experience, with anticipated upon graduation, I have developed the skills necessary to provide safe and effective anesthesia care in a variety of clinical settings and to constructively participate in an interprofessional care team.
