About James Baldwin

I am a young professional who is eager in establishing a career path in management in both manufacturing and business industries. I am currently a Safety Specialist II at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. With every position I have held, I have exceeded the expectations of the role and responsibilities, due to my ability to seek ways to continuously improve the position and the company. I have been a production supervisor over many processes ranging from the extrusion of rubber compounds to the admission of coated elements with glass products. Due to my ability to retain knowledge and add value through my work ethic, I have held roles within varies companies as a Fill-in Shift Manager and a Department/ Technical Manager. While working for a start-up company I was given the opportunity to be apart of the ISO certification team; as a team we have received our recommendation for ISO certification after the first audit. I was also given the opportunity to work as a safety coordinator, evaluating and reducing risk within the plant. I enjoy analyzing processes and figuring out ways to establish structure to them, whether it is dealing with safety, environment, quality, delivery, and cost.
