My work purpose is to bring joy to the people I encounter. I center the human experience, celebrating strength and resilience. With extensive group facilitation and program development experience, I foster connections and empowerment. My strong interpersonal skills, grant writing experience, and curriculum development abilities enable me to drive positive change on micro, mezzo, and macro levels. Currently pursuing a Masters in Social Justice Education, I'm dedicated to supporting minoritized communities in overcoming systemic adversity. My past includes a Bachelor's in Sociology with experience in diverse settings, from the legal system to residential group homes. In my role as a Wellness Counselor at the Mental Health Association in Ulster, I actively listen with empathy, validating clients' experiences. I've also connected with volunteers as a Front of House Manager at Rosendale Theatre Collective and managed relevant programming at the HV LGBTQ+ Community Center. I've consistently demonstrated empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities throughout my career. I've also presented on various topics, focusing on empowering marginalized communities.
