Background

About James Beniston

Through voluntary work and scientific expeditions I have visited and made use of conservation techniques in a variety of locations such as British woodland, heath and moorland, rocky shores and rainforests in all weather conditions. As well as terrestrial experience I am also a PADI qualified diver with experience in scientific diving and coral reef assessment techniques. My university education was largely based at Bristol Zoo Gardens giving me the benefit of direct contact with captive animals and top experts in their field. I am particularly interested in finding lasting conservation solutions that benefit endangered species through cooperation with local people. I am an extremely practical person who always finds a way to achieve results, even in the worst conditions and gets great satisfaction from doing things correctly.
