About James Boardman

Following my successful completion of a Diploma in Hospitality Management at the International Hotel School (2008,) I have 15 years’ experience in various Operational and Financial management roles, having worked for Compass Group; Tsebo Solutions and Feedem Group. In 2017, I was selected by the Tsebo Executives to attend the 2018 ‘Tsebo Senior Management Development Programme’ at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). There I was elected by my peers as the team leader for one of the programme syndicates. At the end of the programme, together with a NQF 8 Senior Management Development Certificate, the Tsebo Board awarded my team as the 2018 Winning Action Learning Project. We were also the only syndicate to successfully complete the program with all original members. My ambition is to become an Industry leader by developing my passion for Operations, Customer Service, Finance and Compliance. I also have a passion for passing on my knowledge and developing others within an organisation. Together with my natural talents in Finance & Analytics, as well as my experience on the ‘shop floor,’ I am looking for an opportunity where these skill sets could be used in the betterment of industry.
