About James Boothe

I am a Chartered Financial Analyst with 12+ years of experience in finance, banking, and financial services. I currently work remotely as U.S. Treasury Risk Manager for De Lage Landen (DLL). One of my main assets is the variety of my work experiences. I have managed geographically dispersed teams, monitored and reported risk metrics, prepared financial statements, constructed budgets and cash flow forecasts, and worked in Treasury, in banking, fixed-income investment, as an accountant, and in private wealth management. My education is focused on Mathematics and Finance. While I don’t do much Calculus these days, my studies taught me how to solve problems, how to break them down to understand the moving parts and how each affects the bigger picture. This is a skill that has served me well in the work force. In my personal life I enjoy playing tabletop games with good friends (that’s what true gaming nerds like me call “board games”).
