About James Borg

With 15 years of experience in the financial services sector, I’ve built a career grounded in client service, financial planning, and investment consultancy. My journey started in 2010 at Bank of Valletta plc, where I spent 9 years working across various roles within the branch network, developing a strong foundation in retail banking and client relationship management. In 2019, I moved to Michael Grech Financial Investment Services Ltd. as an Investment Consultant. There, I worked closely with clients to develop tailored investment strategies aligned with their goals. In 2024, I was appointed Co-Head of Sales, further solidifying my commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Tied Insurance Intermediary with MAPFRE MSV Life, I also gained valuable experience in insurance products, broadening the range of financial solutions I could offer. In July 2025, I joined Curmi & Partners Ltd. as Head of Client Management. In this role, I lead client engagement initiatives and oversee the delivery of service across our client base. Throughout my career, I've been dedicated to ensuring that my clients receive the most informed and effective guidance. I'm passionate about building long-term relationships and helping clients achieve their financial aspirations remains my ultimate goal.
