About James Bouzaglo

My business practice centers around advising and representing clients in both civil and criminal aspects of international law. I represent the accused or victims of economic crimes in domestic criminal and mutual-assistance proceedings. I also assist individuals and companies in complex international civil disputes, especially involving banks and financial institutions. As the head of Monfrini Bitton Klein’s e-Reputation practice, I assist clients with protecting their reputation in traditional, electronic and social media. I also represent clients with specialized databases in the banking sector such as World-Check and Dow-Jones, and with the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files to ensure that the processing of personal data complies with applicable regulations. In family law, I help clients trace and recover matrimonial and probate assets during cross-border divorce or inheritance disputes and proceedings. Additionally, I advise foreign clients how to set up residence in Switzerland. I also represent clients in art law disputes. I am a member of both the Geneva Bar Association and the Swiss Bar Association.
